Minimalist greeting card series. I wanted to focus on creating original icons with minimalist typography for a quirky and simple feel.
Amberjack Publishing is a female-run publishing company based in Idaho with a strong vision and passion for books. They are committed to sharing the literature of the individual that dares to stand alone, one who isn't afraid to challenge the status quo, to be different—to be more, not less.
My job at Amberjack is to design book covers for various novels, create blog and website graphics, generate ad designs, and assist with social media platforms.
AJP Logo Re-design
When I started at Amberjack Publishing, the company was in need of a logo re-design. They were concerned that their logo appeared too "out-of-date" and wanted an updated and more professional look. As their main graphic designer, I was in charge of creating a new logo, spine logo, and assisting with some company re-branding.
Albertsons Logo Design
Working in a team of six for Ivie & Associates Marketing, we were asked to design a logo for the grand opening of a new Albertsons store in McCall, ID. McCall is a lake resort town and they wanted a logo that would reflect the town's mountain vibe. Out of the six of us, my design was chosen and was displayed on various products such as the beer mug shown here.
The Local is an upscale American lounge where our food is inspired by the local community, and bought through the local market. Our meals are something you can trust, providing only local, organic ingredients. We work closely with farmers and growers who pour their soul into their crops. The result we get is a restaurant that is honest, straightforward and stays true to the place we call home.
This dinner-only restaurant and bar is inviting and simple. With mainly black and grays decorating the space, we catch people’s eye by adding pops of bright color. Our minimalistic style allows people to feel relaxed and ready to engage in meaningful conversation.
